Shaws Office National has been trading for over 22 years and is well known as a leading supplier of office technology and office products over the whole Northern Rivers region, from Grafton to the Queensland border.
The organisation currently employs 20 people, including five active technicians. Shaws has a full technical workshop and is capable of sales, support, repairs and maintenance to all office equipment and computers from a small printer through to the largest digital laser full colour copier/printer.
We concentrate all our energy and direction to delivering the business and government community the very best in service and support.

Shaws Office National Service Division is highly mobile and motivated to provide the very best in service. The Service Division currently services computers and office machines on site from the Queensland border to Grafton in the south. In most cases within a four-hour response time if requested.
Our technical staff are factory trained by the manufacturer and we represent directly the 'Tier One' manufacturers both for sales and technical repair services. Shaws technicians carry sufficient spares to enable them to repair 95% of all service calls on the first visit. We have a commitment to technical training to ensure that the technicians are 'factory trained' and able in most cases to fix equipment "right on time, first time". We invest every year in staff training to ensure that we are fully equipped to service what we sell.

Shaws Office National is a complete commercial stationer with everything from your basic stationery and consumables through to bulk supply of copy paper and office productivity equipment.
Shaws is part owner of the national franchise for stationery known as Office National. This franchise ensures that Shaws has the strength of being one of the largest players in the Australian market and remains nationally competitive.

office furniture
We have a wide range of office furniture available including full office fit outs. Included in this is the ability to design and install filing systems right up to large compactus or shelving systems.
Furniture is generally sold on a consultancy basis where we come to your site and measure and discuss your needs. This furniture is then tailor made to suit your situation. This process often leads to a lower total cost of installation than buying and making do with pre-built furniture of dubious standards. Ergonomics are an important health and safety issue today and these factors should be discussed at length with our consultant when they visit.

OWNERSHIP PROFILE

Shaws Office National is a wholly owned family company. There are two working directors that directly control the business and work in it on a day-to-day basis.

Brenton Shalders is a director and sales manager for the company. Brenton is dedicated to ensuring the fastest response times to orders and the most efficient operation delivering what is ordered speedily and accurately. He is dedicated to the most efficient system possible and the process of constant improvement. Brenton has eight years of business experience.

Andrew Burton is the managing director and has been the owner of several businesses covering a wide range of fields. Andrew now has over 30 years experience as a business owner, with 21 of those years as owner of Shaws.

Both directors are family men who live and work locally and are dedicated to the progress of the region.
